Global Diaspora One Voice Consortium OVC presented the “Diaspora Lifetime Achievement Hall of Fame Award” to Ambassador Lazarus Amayo, the outgoing Kenyan Ambassador to the US, at the Blair House, the US President’s guest house.

This event was attended by members of the Kenyan Embassy in Washington DC,  diplomatic missions from Africa to the US, US State Department staff, Diaspora representatives, and many friends of Amb. Amayo.

We also recognized the Embassy of Kenya, Washington DC, for supporting and facilitating Kenyan and EA community citizens in the diaspora. OVC members Dennis Mittei and his father, Stephen Mittei, who are working with OVC on the upcoming Diaspora Tech. Conference at Safari Park, Nairobi, on  September 18-19th, were in attendance.
