Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kimani family as you navigate this painful loss. May the love of family and friends, and the comfort that comes from God, surround you and give you strength in the days ahead.

The Diaspora Times fraternity joins the Kimani family, relatives, friends, and the wider Kenyan community in Georgia and beyond in mourning the passing of Daniel Nganga Kimani, fondly known as “General.”

Daniel was more than a family man, he was a pillar within our community, a familiar face at gatherings, a voice of reason, and a steady presence whose absence will be deeply felt. His life reflected commitment to family, faith, and community, values that continue to bind us together even in moments of great loss.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his children, Mercy, Ben, Evah, and Mumbi, to his brothers Ngaruiya and S. K. Kimani, and to all relatives and friends who walked this journey with him. We remember with respect his late wife Margaret Nganga, and pray that God grants the family strength as they reunite her memory with his legacy.

As a community, we stand with the family during this difficult time, offering prayers, presence, and support. In our culture, grief is not carried alone, and it is through unity that we find comfort, healing, and hope.

May the Lord grant the family peace that surpasses all understanding, and may Daniel’s soul rest in eternal peace.

“The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
— Job 1:21

Please continue to uplift the family in prayer and support them as they prepare to lay their loved one to rest.
